Process & Objective

RidgeTek is a new roofing company launching in the DFW area; however, they hope to expand into other entities in the coming years besides roofing. The goal was to give a modern look to the logo, but not be roofing exclusive.

As you can see the first round of drafts, the logo was more home or builder based. Though the clients liked the idea, they feared it was still to restricting. We decided to go the more initial route. They sent over about 10 logos they liked and what they liked about them and what they did not. I took notes and created the logo you see today. I also gave them two color options: teal and sapphire. They ended up picking the sapphire.
